Fred H. Bixby Foundation The foundation is dedicated to supporting research in the field concerning population growth and family planning. VIDAII program was given a large grant in 2006 to fund research in the community concerning women, pregnancy, and family planning issues. In the past, the Bixby funded a colloquium entitled, Populations Growing: a Public Health Response to Growing Populations. Rotary Club
Planned Parenthood has supplied SDSU students with reproductive health teaching materials in Spanish. Planned Parenthood also supplies free family planning items such as condoms. More information: Planned Parenthood Federation of AmericaLa Pinta Hotel and Resort Assists in housing of about 200 staff and students for a three night stay in San Qiuntin at a discounted rate. They also supply all students and staff with prepared breakfast every morning. Tijiuana Medical suppliers Various medical companies in Tijiuana Mexico supply UABC students with medical equipment and supplies. Supplies include items such as creams, cold and flu medicines, acetametaphine and aspirin. Toiletry supplies are also brought such as lotions, shampoos, toothpaste and soaps. |
